Services for inpatients and daycases are provided at both Ysbyty Gwynedd and Llandudno Hospital with theatres, day surgery and wards at both sites. Outpatient services are provided at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Llandudno General Hospital, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Pwllheli, Dolgellau, and Penrhos Stanley Hospital, Holyhead.

The Directorate is continually striving to improve its services and reduce waiting times by introducing innovative new developments. Some of the most recent service developments have been the introduction of the Musculoskeletal TEAMS service (Targeted Early Access to Musculoskeletal Services), Arthroplasty Service, Nurse led Pre Operative Assessment, provision of 2 new theatre suites at Ysbyty Gwynedd including a dedicated Emergency Theatre and the implementation of a computerised Theatre Information System to all theatres and endoscopy suites within the Trust.
