There are 7 General Medical Wards in Ysbyty Gwynedd and 4 in Llandudno General Hospital.  These wards cover the specialties of:

• Cardiology (including Coronary Care Unit)
• Care of the Elderly
• Renal
• Haematology
• Oncology
• Gastroenterology
• Diabetology / Endocrinology
• Dermatology
• Rheumatology

There are a total of 26 Consultants, each with a medical team (i.e. Middle Grade, Senior House Officer, Pre-Registration House Officer) and administrative support servicing a total of 322 beds.
