There are 3 full time Consultants in Ysbyty Gwynedd and 2 full time Consultants in Llandudno General Hospital with a special interest in Geriatric Medicine, with Consultants sub-specialising in conditions including Parkinson's Disease and Stroke.

The Consultants cover a total of 32 beds at Ysbyty Gwynedd and 45 beds in Llandudno General Hospital.  Nursing staff on these wards are experienced in caring for elderly and frail patients.
