The Planning and Performance Management Department was established in 1999, and provides a corporate role in: - Strategic and operational planning.
- Capital planning and project management.
- Business case and bidding processes.
- Emergency planning, capacity planning and emergency pressures.
- Performance Management.
- Joint working initiatives and partnership liaison.
The Department produces the Annual Report in conjunction with the Corporate Communications Unit, which includes highlights of the Trust’s activities and financial accounts over the previous financial year. Click to download the Annual Report 2006/07 Capital Planning and Management The Department has specific responsibilities for overseeing and managing the discretionary capital programme. This allocation is used to fund new and replacement medical equipment, upgrade/modernise existing premises and the development of new buildings. In addition, the department manages specific centrally funded schemes through the All-Wales Capital Programme. The following business cases have been approved by the Welsh Assembly Government and are available for inspection at the Capital Planning Department, Trust Headquarters, Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor: - Strategic outline case for electrical infrastructure, Ysbyty Gwynedd - approved February 2007.
