Bron y Garth Hospital - View location map

The hospital is situated on the main road between Porthmadog and Penrhyndeudraeth.

Approximately 29 miles from Ysbyty Gwynedd and 42 miles from Llandudno General Hospital.  Originally built as a Workhouse in 1842 with a capacity for 200 people. In 1954 the role changed to that of a Council run Home for the Elderly, accommodating up to 68 residents. Today Bron y Garth has made the transition to a Community Hospital.
