The full range of general radiographic and radiological procedures are provided by accredited consultant radiologists. A wide range of specialist imaging and interventional procedures are also undertaken. The department offers a 24 hour Accident and Emergency Service.

At Ysbyty Gwynedd there are eight general X-ray rooms including DVI, fluoroscopy and tomography, dental, mammography, spiral CT, MRI, Radionuclide Imaging and 3 ultrasound machines with colour flow doppler.

At Llandudno General Hospital there are three general rooms including fluoroscopy, dental tomography and mammography and ultrasound including colour flow doppler.

Ultrasound machines with colour flow doppler and general X-ray facilities are also available on other sites within the Trust.
