The Trust has a number of well established League of Friends' committees who are active in a number of different hospitals in the area.

The Ysbyty Gwynedd League of Friends was formed in 1969 in the old C&A Hospital was transferred to Ysbyty Gwynedd when it opened in 1984.

The League of Friends' Committees and helpers are all volunteers who work tirelessly to raise considerable funds to buy equipment for the benefit of patients within our hospitals. This ensures that we often have the best and latest equipment with which to treat our patients or to ensure their comfort.

Funds are raised through events such as coffee mornings and pancake days, as well as innovative ideas for example a fashion show.

Donations from patients and relatives are also gratefully received by the League and on occasions Legacies are left to them which helps their funds considerably.
