Adult Mental Health Inpatient Care is provided at four locations throughout Gwynedd and Anglesey:

Hergest Unit

Acute mental health inpatient care is provided in the Hergest Unit, based within the grounds of Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.  The Unit has three 18-bed acute admission wards (Cynan, Aneurin and Gwalchmai and a 6-bed Intensive Care Unit (Taliesin). More .........

Carreg Fawr is an 8-bed residental unit based at Bryn y Neuadd Hospital, Llanfairfechan.  The Unit provides re-education and rehabilitation for people with severe and enduring mental health problems, leading to re-settlement into the Community.  More .........

Coedlys Support Bed Unit

Coedlys is a residential 8-bedded Support Bed Unit located in Llangefni, Anglesey which provides support and treatment for adults with a range of serious mental health problems who are assessed as requiring an inpatient setting but do not need an acute treatment unit.  More .........

Dryll y Car Support Bed Unit

Dryll y Car is an 8-bed residential unit in Barmouth.  The unit provides a community based residence where people in Meirionnydd, who have an identified mental health problem, may access a high standard response to their needs without travelling long distances, or having to be admitted to an acute psychiatric hospital.  More .........
