Our E-mail a Patient Service allows you to send an e-mail message to a patient at Ysbyty Gwynedd. The messages are then hand-delivered to patients by our volunteers or staff members as soon as possible, not including weekends or holidays. Please note we may not be able to deliver messages to patients in certain areas of the hospital. The North West Wales NHS Trust E-mail a Patient Service is the first in Wales and was developed in partnership with Anglesey Community Health Council. The service will be extended to include other hospitals within the Trust soon. When completing the form, please ensure that you include the full name of the patient you would like to send your message to, the ward they are on and the first line of their address in the 'Message' box of the form. Please read the full description of the E-mail a Patient Service and terms of use below. |

The E-mail a Patient Service should not be used for confidential communications, including medical, diagnostic, or personal information. All messages are read and printed by North West Wales NHS Trust staff or our registered volunteers. Inappropriate messages, including business solicitations, will be deleted.
The North West Wales NHS Trust does not assume responsibility for the delivery of e-mail and assumes no liability for the e-mail or information contained within the e-mail sent to patients. Delays in delivery messages of e-mails may occur. We will make every effort to deliver your message promptly, but we cannot guarantee delivery. If a patient is not at Ysbyty Gwynedd, we will attempt to contact the sender. If a patient has already been discharged, we will attempt to contact the sender and the message will be deleted. Undeliverable messages will also be deleted. |
