Gwynedd SANDS donate in Memory of Children

The Gwynedd Stillborn and Neonatal Death Society have donated funds to the Ysbyty Gwynedd Maternity Unit to purchase equipment. A presentation was made by SANDS member Llinos Eames Jones ahead of their annual candle service in Ysbyty Gwynedd’s Chaplaincy Centre.

SANDS have raised £2500 to purchase two blood pressure monitors for the unit and these were presented to Head of Midwifery Fiona Giraud. She said: “On behalf of all our staff, I would like to thank SANDS for their continued support in helping us provide the safest and most modern facilities at out Maternity Unit.”
